The Root of the Body and Life
Jung(精) is the fundamental essence of the physical body. It is the material root of life, received at birth and sustained through nourishment, breath, and conduct.
Jung governs bones, barrow, blood, and reproductive vitality. Without Ki(氣), Jung(精) cannot be preserved; without Jung(精), life gradually withers.
The Flow and Circulation of Life
Ki(氣) is the dynamic force that animates Jung(精) and gives rise to transformation. It is breath, circulation, and flow-the invisible current that sustains all processes of life.
Ki(氣) connects body and spirit, matter and awareness. Ki(氣) is the key to harmonizing both physical vitality and spiritual clarity.
Spirit and Inner Light
Shin(神) is consciousness, awareness, and spiritual luminosity. It is the most subtle of the Three Treasures and cannot exist independently of Jung(精) and Ki(氣).
Shin(神) is not thought, emotion, or belief;
it is the silient clarity that precedes all spiritual activity.
