Calm in Everyday Life

The Bongwoo Method has transformed how I approach daily life. Even just a few minutes of practice helps me respond to challenges with calm instead of stress. I feel more present with my family, clearer at work, and more aware of my own emotions. The guidance is gentle yet profoundly effective, helping me cultivate a lasting sense of balance and clarity.

Healing Through Stillness

I’ve explored many meditation practices over the years, but the Bongwoo Method is unlike anything else. Its focus on deep, conscious breathing paired with mindful presence clears my mind and quiets my inner chatter. Over time, I’ve noticed a new sense of balance, both emotionally and physically.

Finding the Master Within

Before I began the Bongwoo Method, I struggled to quiet my mind and connect with myself. Through this practice, I’ve discovered the “Master Within” that I didn’t realize was always there. The slow, intentional breathing and focus on presence make it possible to see clearly, feel deeply, and understand myself on a whole new level.

A Practice That Lasts

The Bongwoo Method is deceptively simple but incredibly powerful. By focusing on breathing and presence, I’ve learned to quiet my mind, ease stress, and center my energy. Unlike other methods I’ve tried, the benefits carry into my daily life—I feel more grounded, balanced, and mindful in everything I do. It’s a practice I know will stay with me for life.

Restoring Inner Peace

I didn’t realize how much stress and tension I was holding onto until I started this practice. The Bongwoo Method gently guided me toward inner stillness and calm. Each session helps me release mental clutter and emotional weight, leaving me with a profound sense of peace and clarity. It feels like rediscovering myself in a way I never thought possible.

A Transformative Retreat to Korea

My desire to go to Korea was to experience the culture and understand the roots of Korean martial arts. I just tested for my black belt in Tang Soo Do. I experienced so much more than just the culture on the retreat. The retreat started in the Myeongdong area in Seoul to experience the city, shopping, and exquisite cuisine. Haejung knows what places are must see and experiences not to miss.  She knows the hot spots for cuisine that only locals know.  Experiences included the National Museum and the Royal Palace. After experiencing the city, the mountains of Gyeryongsan were the perfect place to hike.  The Temple stays in the mountains with Tao meditation and healing are memories to remember. Haejung delivered an upscale retreat sharing her heart and soul.

My First Real Connection Within

Before I met Haejung I studied Esoterism and religion of all kinds.
I had a lot of information that I didn't know what to do with.
The first time attending a public the solstice retreat she led a meditation.
It was amazing.
It was my first group meditation as well as an intro to Tao practice.
It was also my first intentional connection within myself that was real and expansive.

Almost all my spiritual studies lead to 'the inner journey' but then, before the internet was easily accessible, there was no real understanding of what that meant

Haejung and her journey to share Taoism opened the doors I had been looking for.
Thank you

Exploring Korea with Haejung: Temples, Beaches, and cultural Discovery

I had the privilege of joining Haejung on one of her Korea tours, and it was truly an amazing experience—both fun and deeply enriching. The trip offered a wonderful balance between exploring city life and immersing ourselves in the serene countryside of Korea. We visited museums, stunning Buddhist temples, beautiful beaches, and picturesque villages that seemed straight out of a painting.

Each town introduced us to the unique customs, traditions, and history of the local people, spanning different eras. This journey gave me a genuine appreciation for Korean culture. One highlight was an exclusive, spectacular dinner in a traditional village alongside Buddhist monks—an unforgettable and truly special moment.

Haejung also guided us to a national park, where we spent a full day hiking, soaking in the beauty of nature, and enjoying the gentle rainfall. The entire tour was entertaining and educational, with meaningful opportunities for meditation and self-reflection. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves to travel safely with excellent companions.

Transformative Spiritual Meditation Retreats in Sedona and South Korea

Haejung is the most extraordinary teacher I’ve ever met. I have practiced yoga and meditation for many years in Sedona,Arizona in her classes, but I have rarely experienced anything as deep, refined, and transformative as her teachings. Her meditation, yoga, knowledge, and energy work are truly special. Each session left me open, lighter, happier, and deeply balanced — physically, emotionally, and energetically. There is a rare combination in her teaching of gentleness and strength, clarity and depth, that creates a very safe and powerful space for real inner change. Her presence, wisdom, and embodied way of teaching make her an exceptional teacher.I wholeheartedly recommend Haejung and her work to anyone looking for a meaningful meditation and yoga practice or retreat experience. The journey she offers — including retreats connected to South Korea — is truly enriching and unforgettable.

Deep Rest and Presence

Having trained in deditation in Sedona, I tend to carefully notice the space, rhythm, and the presence the guide when choosing a retreat.
The retreat guided by Haejung dud not push to do anything forcefully, but gently guided us back to our breath and senses.
In the stillness, my body responded first, and my mind followed naturally-a process that reminded me of my training in Sedona.
Wheather in Korea or in Sedona, this retreat gently guided me back to my own sense of presence.
I wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to those who wish to realign their bodies and minds, and to anyone seeking a deep experience of traditional Korean meditattive practice.

A Profound Spiritual Retreat Experience

Korea is such a wonderful country to reestablish your personal vitality and wonderment about life itself. Staying in a traditional hanok village, combined with a variety of outstanding cuisines and entertainment I found breathtaking.  Walking through the royal palace and the numerous gardens and waterways is exhilarating.  I thought the night tour with it’s colors, smells and vibrations almost intoxicating.Combine this with the lush, green countryside and the truly spiritual temple stays truly does harmonize your body and spirit. The Tao Meditation and Energy Healing sessions I consider to be highlight of the trip for my spiritual growth.  On the many forest hikes and rambling waterways I found true meaning on what I want to focus on for the rest of my life.
